Community matters

CLICK HERE TO SEE THE POSTER FOR "Community Matters:"  Philmont Market and Café will host a discussion forum under the title “Community Matters” on August 29, 2011 from 7-8:30pm (sharp!) at the Philmont Public Library. We have the idea that “a co-op is not just a store”. At Monday evening’s meeting we will ask: What community assets can we use for cooperation? We want to know what cooperation means to you and what it means to build a cooperative in our community. Let’s discuss how our existing resources and networks can strengthen the foundation for cooperative enterprise.
